Flexo Printing
Perfect for mid-to-large quantity runs. Minimums start at 250.
Best suited for simple 1–2 color designs. No raster images.
A one-time investment in a printing plate is required per color. If a custom size is needed, a cutting die will be required.
Produces a matte print when printed on Standard White or kraft and a semi-glossy print when printed on Premium White.
Digital Printing
Ideal for short-to-mid sized runs. Minimums start at 10 boxes.
Printed full color. The entire CMYK color profile is at your disposal.
No up-front costs. No printing plates needed. Print using as many colors as you want with no added cost per color.
Produces a punchy print with a light underlying sheen to it. Not matte and not glossy; somewhere in between.

Turnaround for Standard Production is approximately 15 business days. While 95% of jobs are completed within our estimated timeline, Standard Production orders do not come with a guaranteed completion date, so please always buffer in an additional 3 business days on top of this when determining if Standard Production is appropriate. 99.50% of orders will be complete within this buffer period.
Rush Production, when possible, typically adds approx 35% to the unit cost and reduces the timeline down to 5-8 business days. Rush production orders however can not currently be placed via the website. Please contact support@customboxbuilder.com to confirm availability, timeline, and cost.
For all digitally printed Mailer and RSC boxes, the minimum is only 10 boxes. For flexo printed Mailer and RSC boxes, as well as any Folding Carton order, the minimum starts at 250 boxes.
Not at all. For the 3 box styles designable in 3D on our site, customers can download a dieline (2D template) directly on the Quoter page and design the traditional way via a vector art program such as Adobe Illustrator. For all other box styles, dielines can be obtained by emailing support@customboxbuilder.com.
We absolutely can ship Blind. There is a check box you can select when in the Cart which ensures your company information will appear as the Shipper on all shipping documentation.
All of our corrugated boxes, including both the Mailer and RSC boxes, regardless of thickness, can absolutely be shipped via the parcel system; however, certain boxes, like the Folding Carton, are made of paperboard and not designed to be the primary shipping container.
If you'd like a sense of shipping cost prior to designing your box, then once you enter the 3D box designer, immediately click "Checkout" in the top right corner and type in your shipping address to get a quote.
For the time being, all samples, including all sample packs, can only be ordered by emailing support@customboxbuilder.com. For sample packs, there is no charge; however, for custom printed samples, we charge a non-refundable $50. Sample packs are shipped out the next business day and custom samples are shipped out within 3-5 business days. In both cases, the cost to ship via UPS Ground is covered by us.
